PDP member who attended event in Ibadan falls ill after being reportedly exposed to Coronavirus

It's no longer news that Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which began in Wuhan province of China has spread to Africa. Nigeria who initially declared herself free from the virus has recorded up to 22 cases after the Muhammadu Buhari led Government dragged sluggishly and reluctantly moved towards imposing travel bans in and out of the country. What's worse is that despite the severe warnings and directives issued by different State Governments and health bodies, Nigerians go about their normal activities ignoring all the risks involved including political entities who are still on the pursuit of happiness.

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has dropped a shocking information about a PDP member who was reportedly exposed to COVID-19 outside the shores of Nigeria and is now ill. According to her, the high profiled individual currently in Abuja travelled to Ibadan to attend an event organized by the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP).

The political figure is said to be elderly and travels to Europe a lot. She tagged the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) while stating that the person in question should do the needful by informing the NCDC.

Should we be worried? Definitely. Italy has now become the epicenter of the viral spread all because the same doubt and non nonchalant behavior was adopted even after news of the virus broke. To think that after all the noise that's been made about Coronavirus our politicians still want to satisfy their selfish desires against all odds is indeed alarming.

Kemi Olunloyo who raised the alarm insists that everyone who attended the event including the Governor of Oyo state should be isolated.

Could this be true or is this just another attempt to spite her long time adversary, David Adeleke aka Davido who was recently spotted with the Oyo state Governor?
