Six states in the South-West on Monday held public hearings on the creation of Amotekun.
Amotekun was inaugurated on January 9 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The six states involved are Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo. It is the first security outfit initiated by states in a geopolitical zone in Nigeria.
In Ondo State, the Chairman, South-West Governors’ Forum and Governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, justified the need for the creation of Amotekun.
He said, “Amotekun is a big thing. It has shaken this country, some want it, some don’t want it but I know we are going to win the battle. The security of our people cannot be compromised. There is no going back on it.”
The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun, said the bill involved the protection of life and property of the people.
Speaking for the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, the Secretary General of the association, Sehinde Arogbofa, said the Amotekun Bill would enable the outfit to work independently.
He said, “We don’t want the corps to be reporting to the police, they should work independently. They should collaborate with the police in their operations. We also want speedy, fair and firm justice. Membership of the corps should be only the indigenes that know the nooks and crannies of their areas. “
A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, commended the six South-West governors for the initiative.
He said, “Amotekun is the arrival of Yoruba freedom. It is a good initiative and has nothing to do with politics but the safety of life and property. It cannot lead to secession; Yoruba cannot secede from Nigeria because our fathers have invested so much in the country.”
Osun stakeholders disagree on oath-taking
In Osun State, the Chairman, the peaceful coexistence between Fulani/Bororo and Farmers, Oguntola Toogun, said Amotekun recruits should not swear with the Bible or Quran.
He said their oath-taking should be in line with the Yoruba tradition to ensure discipline.
But the Chairman, Osun Muslim Community, Alhaji Mustafa Olawuyi, disagreed with Toogun, saying the recruits should be allowed to take oaths in line with their religious beliefs.
The Chairman of Fulani Association in the state, Alhaji Olawatoyin Sulaimon, advised that he would make the officials to approach their duties with the fear of God, assuring them that Fulani residents in the state would cooperate with them.
The Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdrasheed Olabomi, in his remarks, advocated that traditional rulers should be given the responsibility of recruiting Amotekun officials.
The Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly, Timothy Owoeye, said the Amotekun corps would assist the police and other security agencies.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Mr Gboyega Alabi, said, “If Amotekun works, investment windows will open. Amotekun will give wings to the Osun Economic and Investment Summit as well as the Osun Investment Promotion Agency, which are our windows to economic and industrial transformation.
Amotekun has come to stay – Lagos Speaker
The Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, on Monday, declared that Amotekun had come to stay.
He spoke at a public hearing on a bill to establish Amotekun in Lagos state. He said the outfit had become important for the protection of life and property.
“Amotekun has come to stay and we must stand by it,” he said.
In his opening remark, the Chairman of the committee on Information and Security, Tunde Braimoh, said the protection of life and property was the most important responsibility of government as stipulated in the constitution.
We won’t allow politicians to hijack Amotekun –Ogun
In Ogun State, the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Akingbolahan Adeniran, on Monday, said the state government would not allow politicians to hijack the operations of Amotekun.
The Attorney-General spoke at the Ogun State House of Assembly public hearing on Monday.
He said, “I want people to understand that you cannot hijack Amotekun for any political use.
“It is important you have that because when you hear about argument against the state policing, this is the first point people usually make (that politicians will hijack it) but let us make sure they are not going to do so.”
In his presentation, the NSCDC state commandant, Raji Abolurin, said the Amotekun officials should not be allowed to carry firearms.
Abolurin, who was represented, said, “They should not allow Amotekun corps to carry firearms while arresting criminals.
“Instead of Amotekun to be prosecuting in court, the work of the prosecution must be given to already established agencies. The clause that gives Amotekun officers freedom should be looked into.”
The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, said the Amotekun Bill, when passed into law, would be translated into indigenous language for easy understanding.
 Recruit only locals –YWC
The Yoruba World Congress has advocated the recruitment of only competent persons into Amotekun.
In a statement signed by the Convener of the YWC, Prof. Banji Akintoye, the group said, “These should be persons who belong to and who reside in the local government area.
“We also urge those recruiting not to forget to recruit some of our hunters so as to add their well-known expertise to the defence and protection of their local government areas.”
Oyo Miyetti Allah backs Amotekun
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Oyo State, on Monday, described the inauguration of Amotekun as a welcome decision, saying its members would support the initiative to ensure its success.

Pastor Cried Uncontrollably and the Congregation did this to him. See Photos

This is an emotional segment when a Church Pastor cried to talk about the old days.

We all know that Pastors are the Next to God. God speaks through them to us. Pastors should be well respected and obeyed.

This pastor cried uncontrollably in the Altar after saying this..

Senior pastor, Paul Enenche weeps. He said

"Take me back to those days when salvation Message was More important than Prophecy."

"Take Me back to those days when Sex Out of Wedlock was seen as a taboo not now when Sex is an Appreciation gift."

"Can I go back to those days when pregnancy Outside Marriage was a shame to Families not now that it is a way of life."

"Is there Anybody who know the Road to those Days? When descent dressing was the identity of responsibility not now when there is no difference between a Lunatic, a Mechanic and a Sane Man."

"Where are those days when the beauty of a Woman was Found to proper dressing first, not now when an Average woman want to appear naked."

"Please Can we find those days, when Divorce was a derogatory Language among Christians, not today when broken Marriages are now Celebrated."

"I wish I Can go back to those days when true love was build on Sacrifice and trust not now when love is hanging on Sexual Capability and Money."

"Where are those days when Men of God we're afraid of God and live by the word not now when they teach a different thing and live a different life style of their Choice."

"Please wake Me up from this Sleep when we arrive at that world where Rapture and Resurrection was the Major Focus of the Church not now that Materialism is the Center Focus."

"Have we really forgotten those days when if a Member of a Church fall into temptation, the Church will Cry and pray for his/her Restoration, not today when a Member will Commit a sin and the Church will give such one a position in the Church as long as he/she has Money."

"Where are those days when Men will pray until they get Results, not now when all they want is Prophecy even when the said Prophecy has no Solution Or Mandate to Redeem."

"Am looking for those days when so many Girls were Rejected and beaten up by their Parent's, some lost their Education while others were Cajoled by their Mates because they refuse to Compromise and they gave up all for Christ, not this days when Man's way of life is More important than God's way, and going to heaven is a dream for the lost."

"I just remember those days when parents wanted their Children to Marry born again Christians, not today when parents want their daughter to marry Money bags even if they are Ritualists."

"I weep and pray that the Owner of the Church will not Come and Meet his Church like this because Many Saints who have gone will feel disappointed and the Church itself May not Make the Rapture."

The Church Congregation all stood up and pray for forgiveness of sin in an Emotional way.

Stop Calling Him 'Jesus' Here Is His Real Name To Call Him For Your Prayers To Be Answered

Up to this century, so many Christians are still unaware of the real name of the messiah. The bible said that by the calling of that name, every kneel must bowl, But is Jesus Actually the real name the bible talked about?

In case you don't know, Jesus is the English name to the real name of the messiah the bible was talking about. So, what is the real name then?

Yeshua is the real name for the messiah.Know that neither English nor Spanish were around when the real Jesus was alive and when the New Testament was written.

Jesus and his family were all Jews when they were alive and all had Hebrew names, some times spoke Aramaic.

The meaning of Jesus in English is savior, while on Hebrew it also mean the same thing. Have you ever noticed that in Israel where it all originated from, the Jews there don't call him Jesus as we Christians do.

When The New Testament was written in Greeks, the real name was then translated from Yeshua to a Greek spelling, lesous.

When the Roman empire became world power, the Catholic church was then created in respect to the messiah. That was when the Bible was translated into Latin from the original Greek name as "lesus."

English became more popular after the British became one of the major world powers, that was how the Latin spelling, lesus, was translated to the English spelling, Jesus.

Till now, English is still the most widely used language in the world. But you can still call him whatever you wish to call him, or whatever he is called in your local language.

Just know that the real name that was given to him by God is Yeshua and not Jesus. Yeshua is the name you will call him for him to answer your prayers faster, that is the name that when called, every kneel shall bowl and confess that he is Lord.

Doctors Are Shocked by Anti-Hypertensive Therapy That Reverses Hypertension, Normalize BP and Improve Blood Circulation in a few weeks!

The Lagos state police command has explained why it is holding in its custody, the Uber driver that carried 22-year-old LASU graduate, Daibo Davies Toju , who jumped into the Lagos lagoon, last week Saturday February 15th.
On Friday February 21st, a person who knows the Uber driver, took to Instagram to cry for help, alleging that he was being detained at the police station in Adekunle over the case.GUB reached out to the public Relations Officer Lagos state Police Command, Bala Elkana, to ascertain if indeed the Uber driver was in their custody, and if true, why is he being detained. Giving an explanation, Bala said
''Yes he is. we are investigating and there are a lot of questions to be answered. The person making the noise is talking based on what was pushed in social media but the investigators will do their job and we will make the finding public.''
When asked if there are new facts emerging from the case, Mr Bala said
Well at this stage it will be took early to say something. I think we should allow investigatorsdo their job. The searc and rescue teams are still searching for the corpse and up till today, they have not found it and this is a bit strange. They are still searching.
There are questions we are asking. The first question we are asking is that If you go to the Third mainland bridge, you will see a lot of police deployment. We did that deliberately because of incidences of police jumping into the lagoon and that has really help because if you look at the figures from 2018, we had 80 cases of suicide, 2019 it has dropped down becasue of this measure. This year too, the figure is still low.
The Uber driver knows that third mainland bridge is not a parking space for anybody, it is not a parking zone, It is not an hospital. If you have a sick customer, it is not an hospital for you to take him to.
The whole thing happened within seconds. Only him saw him jump. We have marine boats that patrol that area. Nobody saw him in the water and for over a week now we haven't found his body. So, there are a lot of stories are even coming up. His father and mother are even staying apart so he is a product of a broken home. There are a lot of things going on. There are a lot of things going on so we don't want to prempt at this stage.
There are more to that story that story that we need to investigate.

Bad Things That CCTV Camera Showed At Redemption Camp

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye

The General Overseer of the the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye at the weekend said the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) had been installed at Redemption Camp, warning people with evil intention to be careful as they would be caught.

Addressing the worshippers at the January Holy Ghost Service at the Camp, Adeboye said the CCTV had exposed many bad things some people were doing in the camp.He said he was advised to inform the worshippers of the operation of the CCTV in the Camp because it was one of the legal requirements.

“You all know that there are angels watching over us in camp. But I have been asked to tell you that there are CCTV cameras on the camp which record all that is going on in the camp. It is part of the requirement of the law that we announce the presence of such equipment. So you can’t afford to misbehave on camp. Every car that comes into the camp is being recorded and all activities even in the dark as long as they are being done on the camp are being recorded.”

“I was shown the clip of a man who went to take envelopes in the tithe and offering box in the Old Auditorium. When the man got to the auditorium, checked right and left and found out that nobody was around. Unknown to him CCTV cameras were recording what he was doing. He took the envelopes in the box and stuffed them in his pocket. By the time he was about escaping with the envelopes, a motorbike from the CCTV Centre caught up with him and he was apprehended,” Adeboye said.

“Initially he wanted to resist arrest because he claimed to have done nothing. But by the time they searched his pockets they discovered several envelopes including tithe, first fruit and offering envelopes with money in his pocket. He could not argue again.”

Adeboye disclosed he was shown another video where a young man broke into a car on the camp and began to steal things from the car. Before he could escape with what he stole from the car a bike man from the CCTV Centre caught up with him.
