Ibukunoluwa , the daughter of Agro Enterprise Proprietor in July 2019 .
It was reported that after killing the deceased , Shittu and his friends threw away her corpse in the night.
The convict was said to have deliberately killed the Ibukunoluwa for ritual purposes.
Shittu was later charged to court on two counts of conspiracy and murder .
Shittu later confessed to killing Ibukunoluwa for ritual, during the trial.
He Was asked to state why he threw her corpse away. He said after taking the parts of the organs he needed, he just dispose her off.
A witness named Omotola, a doctor claimed that after tests, the lady did not die under a normal circumstance.
Another witness , a sister to the defendant Shittu never told her that Ibukunoluwa was killed by him.
The father of the convict , Rev. Adeobola stated that he never thought his son could do such. As it's disheartening.
He stated that Shittu told him that some men might have killed Ibukunoluwa on her way home.
Gafar and Jibola said, Shittu only called them after he has killed the girl. That they didn't plan it together.
While delivering his judgement on Wednesday , Justice Bolade Atan , said the murder was established through the autopsy report that the deceased did not die a natural death .
He said the court did not believe Shittu's claim that two men killed the deceased and he did not inform the police .
The judge held that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt that Ibukunoluwa was intentionally killed by the defendant .
The judge thereafter sentenced Shittu to death by hanging .
“ You , Shittu , is hereby sentenced to death by hanging ; Gafar and Jibola to serve 6 years in prison for aid and abetting, may God have mercy on you” Justice Bolade said .
