Breaking! Another Popular Yoruba Actor Dies 5 Months After Battling With Kidney Problem

If the news reaching us is anything to talk about, then these are definitely not the best of times for the entire movie practitioners in Nigeria, particularly the Yoruba movie industry as another Veteran film maker lost his life into the cold hand of death today.

It is the sudden death of a popular movie actor cum script writer, Gbenga Ajumoko who was critically down with a chronic ailment. 

In October 7th 2019, one of the top online entertainment journals in Nigeria, www.yorubamoviegist.com reported that the versatile script writer was critically ill.

The report then read thus: "For over 6 months now, the Ijebu, Ogun State-born actor has been hospitalized at a hospital in Sagamu Remo where he was diagnosed with Diabetes and Hypertension which has got his 2 kidneys affected.

He has solely been treating the ailments quietly until things got worsen for him and he was transferred to a private hospital located at Ibadan Garage, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Ajumoko, www.yorubamoviegist.com, gathered that one of the injections he takes per day cost him nothing less than #20,000, and he has no capacity to further fund the bill.

It came as a big shock today when the information reaching us from his family claimed that the great Ajumoko has joined his ancestors. May his soul rest in peace.
