Singer Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley and politician, Babatunde Gbadamosi, have tendered apology letters to Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, for violating the social distancing order of the state when they attended the house party organised by actress Funke Akindele and her hubby, JJCSkillz, on Sunday April 5.
Recall that Naira Marley, Gbadamosi and his wife, Folashade, were arraigned before the Magistrate Court 1 on Wednesday April 8 by the state government but the charges against them were dropped on condition that they would apologise to the President and the state governor. They were also mandated to sign an undertaking to comply with all regulations relating to COVID-19 pandemic, and also to go on self-isolation for 14 days in order to protect others that they may come in contact with.
All three defendants have since tendered their apology letters to the state governor. See the letters below.
