In the early hours of Wednesday the 8th of April 2020, it was reported that the office of the accountant general of the federal republic of NIGERIA in Gariki Abuja, was on fire.
The office of the accountant general is the chief office which houses most finaicial records of the country.
Following this, Davido has on his Twitter handle called out that the money belonging to his father be returned.
It was gathered that David's philanthropic father, Dr Deji Adeleke has made huge donations to the federal government to help combact and contain the Corona virus pandemic that is destroying the entire world.
Dr Deji Adeleke donated the sum of five hundred million naira to the federal government and two hundred and fifty million naira worth of food items to the people of osun State.
The fire incident today however means there could be problem accounting for the funds that the federal government has received this far from well meaning Nigerians who have made donations inclusive of David's father.
Davido feels the fire incident was a means to an end for some people to scam those who made donations. He tweeted "chai.. them office popsi".
He didn't stop there, he also insisted in a reply on a comment that does it mean, his dad money is a lost course, the money is nothing to my dad, but the federal government should account for every kobo that was Donated to this course.
