Nasarawa United Shamefully Provides By Victor Isiguzo
The death of defender, Chineme Martins has prompted Nasarawa United to provide three ambulances at their following home game against Akwa United which held 10 days after the death of Martins.
Chineme Martins lost his life while playing for the Northern outfit in a Nigerian Professional Football League match against Katsina United on Sunday, the 8th of March. Martins slumped in the first half of the game and was unable to be revived due to a slow medical response.
Nasarawa United eventually won the game 3-0 but the players were devastated and inconsolable soon after they learned their teammate had died.
However, Poojamedia has revealed that the Lafia club provided three emergency ambulances in their next home game which took place on Wednesday, 18th of March.
He tweeted: "After death of their defender, Chineme Martins due to lack of good ambulance, Nasarawa Utd brought 3 ambulances to the stadium in their first home game after the incident.
Nigerians will embarrass you"
The 23-year old was also a former player of Ifeanyi Ubah FC.
