See The Young Girl Who Went Missing After Being Sent To Buy Hand Sanitizer In Lagos (Photos)

By Victor Isiguzo

A lady in her teen years by the name Oreoluwa Ayibiojo has been declared missing after failing to return home when sent on an errand.

The lady who resides in Lagos with her parents was said to have been sent to buy a hand sanitizer from a store in the area after returning from church but didn't return home afterwards.

All efforts to find her during the week have proved abortive and the family have now resorted to social media to plead for help from online users who may have seen her or have useful information about her whereabouts.

A relation by the name Ayo Fernandes made the appeal via his Twitter account on Thursday, March 26, 2020 4 days after she went missing.

In the post he appealed to well meaning Nigerians who could help to be of assistance to the family in whatever way possible.

Fernandes wrote: "Oreoluwa Oluwabusayo Ayibiojo who lives at 10, Federal Housing Estate, Federal Bus stop, Ipaja has been missing since Monday 23, March 2020. She was sent to get hand sanitizer after she came back from church. Please if you know her whereabout kindly contact if found 08028463442."

It is uncertain at this time if there have been leads in the case but it is being handled by authorities. Anyone with useful information should please contact the family or report to the nearest Police station.

While the Government has encouraged workers to stay home and practise social distancing, it is advisable that parents watch their wards during this period as several stores are under lock, leaving streets deserted and open to humans with ulterior motives.

Stay safe everyone.
