Tiwatope Savage popularly known as Tiwa Savage is an Afro Pop singer and a song writer. She was born on February 5, 1980. She started her music career at the age of 16 as a back up singer.

Tiwa Savage was born in Isale Eko and she relocated to London in the year, 1991. She moved back to Nigeria in 2012 as she got signed with Mavins Records. She has produced several hit songs contributing to Nigeria music industry and she is being referred to as one of the most influential female singer in the industry.

She got married to Tunji Balogun also known as TeeBillz in 2013. But the marriage hit the rock in 2016 as TeeBillz accused Tiwa Savage of infidelity and called his mother-in-law, a witch. The failed marriage produced a son by the name, Jamil.
