A Nigerian dramatist, film actor, poet and prolific playwriter, Peter Fatomilola also a tutor of Yoruba language and culture has said Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III wasn't in position to intefere in Ekiti Monarch Issue.
His interference in the matter is what we can relate to when someone poke_nose to what doesn't even concerns him.
While given instances for Alaafin actions, he assume it to a case whereby a governor in Ekiti state want to govern in Oyo state which can never be possible. Even if he try that, definitely, the Outcome will be a great embarrassment.
Furthermore, he said "Assuming a monarch like Ooni of Ife try such, it would have been a welcome development, because he is the leader of all monarch in the Yoruba Monarchy".
The reporter then asked; Considering the Age of Alaafin, Do you think he still don't have that privilege to take such steps?, he responded; "Yes of course, age doesn't matter in governance".
He also advice the Ekiti State Governor, Fayemi, never to dethrone any of the monarch. He added that, each monarch has right under the constitution to against the governor who introduce a king who doesn't worth leading them in the "PELU_PELU" group of Ekiti kingdom.
"only highly respected kings like the Elekole of Ikole, Ajero of Ijero, Alara of Ilara and Ewi of Ado etc, can only lead the Pelupelu group".
