Usman Umar, popularly known by his stage name, Soja boy is a young and vibrant Nigerian musician from the north. Usman is currently featured on a popular reality show for lovers: ''90 days fiance''.
He is 30 years old and he is currently dating a 52-year old American woman known as Lisa Hamme. After the first episode of his love affair with Lisa aired on the internet, Usman faced a lot of backlash from Nigerians for dating a 52-year-old woman.
He was accused of dating Lisa because of she is American. However, according to Usman, he is in love with Lisa and he claims he is not dating Lisa because of the color of her skin or anything. Watch a short video from their reality show episodes HERE.
Usman is not the first young Nigerian man who has been in an intimate affair with an older white woman. Interestingly, to prove his love for her, Usman went to the extent of composing a song to express his love for Lisa.
Usman is not the first young Nigerian man who has dated an older white woman. It should be recalled that a Yoruba young man known as Micheal recently married Angela after they were featured on the 90 days fiance reality show.
According to these young men, they feel love cannot be limited by age or race.
Lisa has come to Nigeria to pay Soja Boy a visit and the 90 days fiance team filmed the whole process of the visit. However, when Lisa arrived at Usman’s house in Kaduna, she confessed that she was disappointed at his standard of living; owing to the fact that Usman is supposed to be a ‘celebrity’ Watch how she expressed her disappointment HERE.
There have been several speculations about Usman and Lisa’s relationship; many people have said that their relationship would not stand the test of time because Usman may not be genuinely attracted to Lisa’s 52-year-old body.
From some of the short videos released by 90 day fiance reality show, Lisa has said that she is aware that some Nigerians are scammers but she trusts Usman and she knows that he really loves her and he is ready to marry her.
