"John why" Soldier who disguised and got into Boko Haram camp killed in ambush, colleague reacts.

A Nigerian soldier has been killed in an ambush by insurgents in the North East.

The North Eastern part of Nigeria has been ravaged by war led by Boko Haram terrorist group for up to a decade and despite the efforts of the military, the dreaded group has continued to attack and counter-attack the forces.

Just this year alone, the terrorist group has taken the fight to the people and military, with several deaths reported and properties lost as well.

And now, a soldier who has been at the epicenter of the war has announced the demise of his brave colleague, who was among some ambushed soldiers.

He recalled how the soldier disguised and got into the camp of the terrorist in a bid to get water for his colleagues, who were stuck without food and water in the bush.

The soldier did not leave so much detail about the ambush and number of casualties but this gives an indication to what is going on the North East.

Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has assured that the dreaded terrorist group will soon be a thing of the past.

These soldiers deserve to be constantly celebrated for putting their lives on the line for us.
