Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Julius Oladipo Shebioba has passed away aged 85 on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
Asst. Ven. Sup. Evang. Shebioba was the Shepard in charge of the largest Celestial Church of Christ (C.C.C) parish, Elephant and Castle, located in South-east, London, United Kingdom.
The man of God died at 5:45 PM, few minutes to the Wednesday evening service of the Celestial Church of Christ that is observed worldwide by 6 pm.
According to a report on social media, Shepard Shebioba passed away after contracting the coronavirus. A close source to the deceased said he died a natural death, however, the press statement released by the church didn’t specify the cause of his death.
It is with great sadness we announce the transition of our Shepherd and Father, Asst. Ven. Sup. Evang. Julius Oladipo Shebioba earlier this (Wednesday) evening at 5.45pm, the statement read in part.
The statement added that; the church will be informed about arrangements in due course. This is a trying time for the church and the country. Please remember the family and the church of God in your prayers. We pray that his soul will rest in the peace of the Lord. Amen.
Shepard Shebioba was the Grand Patron of UK Diocese. He is the longest serving Shepherd in the UK for about 40 years.
Elephant and Castle Parish in London was established in the year 1975. It is the second C.C.C. church to be established in UK and Ireland.
