Breaking newsl: Nigerians React To The Sudden Death Of Nollyhood Actor, Who Died While Filming

Reports just hit the internet that, Actor Alkali Matt, popularly known as Dareng, has died while filming on set.

Matt passed away on 24th March at around 7pm.

Dimbo Atiya who shared the news on Facebook said Matt passed "suddenly while he was filming on a set for an epic movie in a village near Keffi."

He is popular for his role as Dareng in the African Magic series "Halita." 

Here is what Dumbo Atiya wrote:

Dareng is what you were fondly called

Halita was who you fondly loved

Schorlastica was who you fondly bore

Kudus was who you bravely fought

We didnt know you would take a bow

We couldnt know you would leave this lot

We didnt catch you leave the set

Director hadnt shouted "Cut!"

But there was need from God above

To call His gentle giant home

You left us here with heavy hearts

Despondent, weak and so alone

Good-bye Matt, We love you, and will miss you... every single minute.
