An Igbo Landlord In Lagos Cuts Down On Tenants Rent So They Can Fight Corona Virus. (See Photos)

By Victor Isiguzo

Some might not take this as a big deal, but the people I consider what they think are the ones who benefitted from this kind gesture.

This kind of Cases of Humanitarian Deeds are what we need in Nigeria.

As Seen from a Status, a Lady took to her WhatsApp to share a picture of how a Nigerian Landlord slashed his tenants Rents by 22% telling them to use the quota to protect themselves against Corona Virus.

The Landlord, obviously a big man and an Igbo by Tribe just did what many never thought of, not even our politicians.

Mr Osuagwu Kenneth Chibueze, landlord of a certain property with many tenants whose rents are #450k and #350k respectively. Out of the kindness of his heart, wrote a public notice to his tenants which was posted on the property and also got share to their WhatsApp.

Mr Kenneth wrote;

Notice to all Tenants

Greetings, this is to inform you that I've reduced your rent for those in 2 bedroom flats from #350k to #250k and those in #450k to #350k from March 2020 to February 2021. My decision is due to Humanitarian consideration after Corona Virus Pandemic that has affected you businesses and lives negatively.

Kindly use the money I've waived to buy sanitizers, other health recommended products and more food to sustain for the unprepared expenses. Meanwhile let's pray and trust the pandemic ends soon.

Sincerely,

Osuagwu Kenneth Chibueze (DBBK)

Landlord.

This beautiful and warm kind of notice are what many people really need to calm their nerves and the tension that has built up due to fears of this virus and the hightened cost of living

God bless this Landlord whoever and wherever he is.
